As a proud Maori, my culture has always been important to me. Maori Art is a representation of our ancestors, our family (whānau) and our tribe (Iwi). My deep connection to Maori Art, with its expressive nature and profound symbolism, adds a distinctive cultural dimension to my work, creating designs that honour our ancestors, family, and tribe through Kowhaiwai patterns that represent Life, Purity and Earth.
